Projects:
Snowden Demonstration Forest: January – April 2021
IMR Trails received a major works project through Recreation Sites and Trails BC in cooperation with the River City Cycle Club. This project was a 3 month duration and we had a crew of up to 8 persons working during the project. We built/maintained over 4km of trail and over 40m of bridges. All construction was hand built to Whistler Trail Standards. We worked on the following trails, Stickman, Grilled Cheese, Mudhoney Pass, Lookout Loop and Frog Legs. We worked in varied terrain and in tough winter weather conditions. We adapted to the weather and resources and had a successful build.
Village of Cumberland Trails: 2017 – 2020
IMR Trails provided trail maintenance services for trails within the Village of Cumberland boundaries. These small projects in the Fall of each year were focussed on maintenance of existing trails. IMR worked with the Village of Cumberland Recreation Management to inspect all of the trails and determine maintenance needs. Maintenance involved creating new dirt features and rebuilding existing features to create sustainable and fun trails that ride well and drain properly. We have worked extensively on Space Nugget, the end of Kitty Litter, No Hole, Found Link and some sections of Broncos Perseverence and Mama Bears.
